Parking

There’s usually ample parking on Penn Ave outside the venue, or on some of the side streets, particularly 39th Street headed down the hill towards Lawrenceville.

Attire

You’ll likely want to bring layers. The venue has lots of outdoor space and big roll-up doors that we hope to leave open.

Healthy Event Logistics

We love you all and hope to see you, but please prioritize your health and the safety of our community by staying home if you feel unwell or test positive for Covid (or whatever else happens to be going around). Our logistics are flexible, so last-minute cancellations aren’t a problem.

We hope to have our ceremony outdoors and leave the large doors open to improve airflow throughout the venue, but there’s always a chance severe weather thwarts our plans. If we have to close the doors there will likely be 50ish people within a smallish cafe. We support anyone who wants to wear a mask during any or all of the celebrations.

• Bike Pittsburgh They’ve been a tremendous force for improved pedestrian and bike infrastructure in Pittsburgh (including right outside our house), and have helped push the city to commit to Vision Zero.
• PA Fund for Choice They’re a grassroots nonprofit that helps patients of Allegheny Reproductive Health Center access safe, compassionate abortion care. Everyone deserves access to healthcare, and Pittsburgh is well-positioned to serve folks from nearby states that restrict access.
• East End Cooperative Ministry They’re a local (~2 blocks from our house) food pantry and shelter serving the most urgent needs of our neighbors.
